SEND

At Bishop David Brown we are fully committed to addressing the needs of all our students, including supporting our SEND students – whether this relates to learning, emotional and/or social difficulties, medical or physical disabilities. Our aim is to ensure that all students make good progress and are fully immersed in the life of our school.

Our aim is to ensure that students needs are met in mainstream classrooms and where appropriate are in smaller groups. All staff have a good working knowledge of each students primary needs and plan accordingly they work closely with the SENDCO and Student Support Assistants to ensure lesson enable students to make good progress.

BDB works closely with a range of external professionals in supporting our students and parents both in and outside of school.
