Wellbeing Week – Anti-Bullying

Each year BDB supports National Anti-Bullying week by hosting our own range of activities, both educational and extra-curricular.

As always students across all age groups got involved to show their solidarity for Anti- Bullying, but we were particularly proud of the Anti-Bullying Committee who delivered informative and interactive sessions to the Year 9 students on what bullying is, the impact bullying can have and what to do if you or someone your know is experiencing bullying.

Students and staff alike supported the cause by wearing odd socks, there was particularly strong enthusiasm from student’s in Year 7 and Year 8.

The week culminated in ‘Wear it Blue Day’ where students and staff arrived at school wearing blue clothing to promote awareness of the Anti-Bullying campaign. This was a huge success, with donations being raised to support our house charities.
